This Privacy Policy explains how ChunkyHost ("we") collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We process data as a controller for account data and as a processor for the world data you upload to your servers.
Data we collect
- Account: email, name, and authentication identifiers (via our auth provider, Kinde).
- Billing: subscription and payment metadata (handled by Stripe; we never store card numbers).
- Operational: server metadata, audit logs of actions you take, and telemetry needed to run the service.
- World data: the Minecraft worlds you create, stored encrypted at rest in object storage.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, rectify, export,
and erase your personal data. You can export your data at any time from
the console (Members → Export my data, or GET /v1/me/export).
To request erasure, contact us and we will delete your account data and
world backups within 30 days.
Cookies & analytics
We set strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We also use self-configured PostHog analytics to understand how the site and product are used — but only after you accept in the cookie banner. We do not run advertising trackers (no Meta, TikTok, or Google ad pixels) and we discard IP addresses, so analytics are stored at country level at most. You can decline analytics and still use the site normally.
